This course teaches you how to secure identities, manage your Azure subscriptions, administer the infrastructure, configure virtual networking, connect Azure and on-premises sites, manage network traffic, implement storage solutions, create and scale virtual machines, implement web apps and containers, backup and share data, and monitor your solution.

Prerequisites

  • Experience with operating systems, virtualization, cloud infrastructure, storage structures, and networking
  • Understand on-premises virtualization technologies, including VMs, virtual networking, and virtual hard disks
  • Understand network configuration, including TCP/IP, Domain Name System (DNS), virtual private networks (VPNs), firewalls, and encryption technologies
  • Understand Active Directory concepts, including domains, forests, domain controllers, replication, Kerberos protocol, and Lightweight Directory Access Protocol
  • Understand resilience and disaster recovery, including backup and restore operations
  • Azure Fundamentals part 1: Describe core Azure concepts, part 2: Describe core Azure services, part 3: Describe core solutions and management tools on Azure, part 4: Describe general security and network security features, part 5: Describe identity, governance, privacy, and compliance features, part 6: Describe Azure cost management and service level agreements; and AZ-104: Prerequisites for Azure administrators, or equivalent knowledge and hands-on experience
