Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions

This course teaches Azure Solution Architects how to design infrastructure solutions. Course topics cover governance, compute, application architecture, storage, data integration, authentication and identity, networks, high availability, business continuity, and migrations. Combine lectures with case studies to demonstrate basic architect design principles.

Prerequisites

  • Strong conceptual knowledge of Azure Active Directory
  • Strong conceptual knowledge of Azure compute technologies such as VMs, containers, and serverless solutions
  • Strong conceptual knowledge of Azure Storage technologies (unstructured and databases)
  • Strong conceptual knowledge of Azure virtual networking to include load balancers
  • Strong conceptual knowledge of general application design concepts such as messaging and high availability
  • Experience deploying or administering Azure resources 
  • Experience and knowledge in IT operations, including networking, virtualization, identity, security, business continuity, disaster recovery, data platforms, and governance
  • Experience designing and architecting solutions
  • AZ-104: Manage identities and governance in Azure, AZ-104: Implement and manage storage in Azure, AZ-104: Configure and manage virtual networks for Azure administrators, AZ-104: Deploy and manage Azure compute resources, and AZ-104: Monitor and back up Azure resources, or equivalent knowledge and hands-on experiences
